Abbas Mahbod

Chief executive officer
Abbas is the President and CEO of AIGreening and an expert in AI, machine learning, and deep learning. He has extensive experience working in both the technical and leadership teams at AIGreening. In addition to his expertise in AI, Abbas has a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which he applies to wildfire management projects. With prior experience as a machine learning engineer in wildfire management companies, he brings a deep understanding of AI-driven solutions for environmental challenges. Abbas is passionate about leveraging technology to predict, detect, and manage wildfires more effectively.



Yussuf Reza Esmaeili

Chief Technology Officer
Yussuf Reza Esmaeili, vice president and chief technology officer, leads AI Greening’s long-term research program. Through the program’s innovation initiatives, the CTO organization, in collaboration with business and technology leaders across the company, explores emerging technologies, assesses their impact on the company’s business, prototypes and evaluates new concepts, and recommends new strategies and solutions. Yussuf is also responsible for the company’s industry standards engagements, university collaborations, and technical community programs.

Mahshid Mahbod is the Chief Operating Officer of AIGreening. Passionate about leveraging innovative technologies, Mahshid bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and practical solutions that benefit both people and the environment. Razie Khalesi Moghaddam

Chief Innovation Officer
Razie is the Chief Innovation Officer at AIGreening Solutions Inc., where she leads research on the environmental aspects of wildfires and their impact on carbon emissions. She plays a pivotal role in advancing data-driven solutions by contributing to model training and integrating the latest findings in the field. Dr. William Nikolakis

Dr. William Nikolakis is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, with expertise in the intersection of Aboriginal rights and natural resources law. Dr. Abbas Milani is a Professor at the University of British Columbia and the Director of the Materials and Manufacturing Research Institute (MMRI). His expertise spans advanced modeling and simulation, with a particular focus on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize complex systems and manage uncertainties. Dr. Milani’s pioneering work in AI-driven solutions has applications far beyond material sciences, making him an essential advisor at AI Greening Solutions. Mike Shanon

Mike Shanon is an Executive in Residence at the Coast Capital Savings Innovation Centre at the University of Victoria, bringing over 30 years of experience in management and business consulting. His expertise spans general management, product design and development, organizational structure, and people management. Mike specializes in organizational structure analysis and implementation, business process optimization, and turnaround strategies. Known for his strong motivational and leadership skills, he excels at aligning business objectives with efficient, practical solutions.
